In 1995, Raymond Bass developed the first UHMW eduction pipe under Bass Etc. — a piece of engineering that changed how hazmat fluids move through railcars and tank trailers.
PolyPetroChem was established in 2012 by David and Raymond Bass to bring engineered UHMW polyethylene fittings to hazmat rail and tank transport at scale.
Today, every part is machined in Navasota, Texas with full material traceability — lot numbers and material records. Components carry required AAR approval numbers for hazmat tank car application.
